※ Developer's Comment

: The Grand Master's preparation for reaching maximum performance was time-consuming and complex, leading to negative player experiences.
To address this, we've improved certain buff mechanics, allowing players to reach maximum performance immediately at the start of combat, thereby reducing the stress of maintaining buffs.

Additionally, because wearing Verdure Dragon Jade previously led to a sub-optimal experience with combo mechanics for Panning Cleave and Wind Breaker, we've improved the actions applied when the Dragon Jade is equipped.

◆ Character Balancing - Majesty (PvE)

 

※ Developer's Comment

: With successive patches, the reliance on the Balls of Gravity mechanism has significantly increased, leading to heightened fatigue for Majesty.
In this update, we have reduced the generation rate of Balls of Gravity and increased the damage of other main skills to alleviate this fatigue.

The Switch Gravity skill's various additional damage mechanisms have been removed, allowing it to deal consistent and intuitive damage to all enemies within its attack area, regardless of how it is used. This adjustment ensures that the skill now delivers the same damage output across different usage scenarios.
Now, upon learning [Awakened Passive] Gravity Ball, the cooldown for Gravity Ball can be stored up to 2 times, enabling players to use it more flexibly even during use of Beyond Time.

※ Developer's Comment

: The Gear Master has received an increase in Passive Attack Power and damage for main skills, enhancing overall combat effectiveness. 
To ensure smoother charging of the Hero Skill gauge through the main skill cycle, the gauge-charging mechanism has been shifted from the Mecha Duck skill to the Mechanic skill.

 

As a result, Shooting Star can no longer charge the Hero Skill gauge using the Mecha Duck skill, and has therefore been indirectly downgraded. 
However, even without this aspect, it was assessed that the gauge charging rate remains sufficient. To compensate, the power of main skills has been increased.

Use of Summon Buster now increases Physical ATK instead of Final Damage. The buff's duration was also increased.

◆ Character Balancing - Oracle, Oracle Elder (PvE)

 

※ Developer's Comment

: The Oracle Elder class, despite being one of the stronger classes among those targeted for this balance update, hasn't received adjustments in a long time.

 

Therefore, changes are being implemented. The main focus of this adjustment is to remove the probability mechanism from Incessant Arts and improve its activation conditions.
The chance-based activation was intended to be a feature that adds charm to the character, but currently, it only increases frustration when playing with Oracle. Additionally, requiring two utility skills meant for survival to trigger attack effects has been problematic.


As a result, the usage frequency of [Holy] Sharp Hurricane will remain at a similar level as before. However, we've adjusted the mechanics so that it can now be used reliably and repeatedly within the main skill rotation. This means that players can now unleash [Holy] Sharp Hurricane consistently and without relying on chance. 
★Please note that we do not plan to completely remove all existing probability-based mechanics due to balance and gameplay feel considerations.

: The Abyss Walker has become the most diluted of the Assassin classes. Despite multiple improvements, it has failed to meet player expectations.
Although a complete overhaul is needed, delaying such an extensive update would take too long. Therefore, we have implemented adjustments to address critical issues first.


We simplified skills with ambiguous utility to serve clear and straightforward functions, while increasing Passive Attack Power and skill damage. This change aims to enable more intuitive and effective gameplay.
Some mechanics have been removed temporarily, with plans to reintroduce them in a way that balances both appeal and effectiveness in future updates.

Increased Enhanced Abyss buff duration. 20 sec → 30 sec

• [Awakened Passive] Dark Conviction

: Increased the amount ATK increases. 100% -> 300%
Dark fireballs generated by [Awakened] Dark Conviction no longer lure in enemies.

[Awakened] Dark Conviction now summons 1 concentrated dark fireball. The 1 concentrated fireball has the power of 10 normal dark fireballs.
The concentrated dark fireball rises from the ground and explodes when summoned.

• Abyss Rush

:No longer decreases cooldown of Summon Shadow.
Use of Abyss Rush now increases the duration of [Awakened] Summon Shadow's Enhanced Abyss buff. Enhanced Abyss duration extended by 5 sec
Now activates a finishing attack after completing the range of movement, even without inputting a Normal Attack.

 

 

◆ Character Balancing - Bleed Phantom (PvE)

 

※ Developer's Comment

: Bleed Phantom had a Passive Attack Power that was too low, making it difficult to experience normal growth.
The Attack Power increase for various Passive skills has been added and adjusted upwards to bring it in line with other classes.
Additionally, Phantom Drive's Bleed infliction rate has been adjusted to reduce the stress of managing the Bleed effect.


Furthermore, the damage structure of Shadow Overdrive has been improved.
Shadow Overdrive has the following characteristics:


1. Deals the same damage per hit regardless of the distance between the user and the monster.
2. The larger the target, the greater the damage dealt. 

 

However, in actual environments, it was difficult to deal normal damage unless fighting against giant monsters. 
Now, Shadow Overdrive has significantly increased damage for the first 3-6 hits, meaning that it must be used in close proximity to monsters for maximum damage. However, it can now also deal meaningful damage to medium and large monsters.

• Bleed Phantom Transformation

: Dark ATK now increases upon transformation. Dark ATK +10%, additional +10% per level up.
Final Damage no longer increases upon using [Cruel] Painkiller while transformed.
Transformation now enhances [Cruel] Painkiller damage (+150% damage per hit).

• Shadow Overdrive

: Increased default attack power at the maximum level and adjusted the damage ratio per hit.

: Avalanche is currently quite powerful, but the frequency of using Ancient Power skills is heavily dependent on the usage rate of [Awakened] Fatal Stinger.
To address this issue, we are increasing the Ancient Power gauge charge rate for the main skills to enhance overall gameplay balance and reduce reliance on a single skill.

: The Duelist class has been underperforming in terms of the impact of skills other than Phase Blade. This was not intended when designing the class.
During the balancing process, it was identified that the damage scaling from EX skills created a significant disparity in skill progression. To address this, we have standardized the damage increase multiplier for Duelist's EX skills.

 

Additionally, we have increased the overall power level of Duelist, while slightly reducing the attack power of the Phase Blade skill.

: The Revenant class has been enhanced with a focus on increasing the attack power of its main skills and the rate of Ancient Power gauge accumulation. 
To address the high opening fatigue caused by numerous active buff skills, adjustments have been made to allow for quicker casting of these buffs.

 

Similarly, the Maverick class received improvements targeting the attack power of main skills and the rate of Ancient Power gauge gain, just like with the Revenant.
Additionally, the [Awakened Passive] Peacemaker skill has been adjusted to offer more cooldown reduction during combat, allowing for a greater decrease in cooldown based on active gameplay
